I am planning my first trip ever to Japan. I am trying to plan my 5 day trip across Yokohama, Tokyo, Kyoto, Osaka, and Nara. I’m wondering if anyone has any recommendations for tattoo friendly private onsens? It is my dream to go to an onsen while in Japan, but I’m having difficulty finding information on private onsens that are also tattoo friendly. I’d prefer to stay in the listed cities due to the time constraint I have. Any recommendations and tips are greatly appreciated.
