Hello everyone,
I’ve done some research on this visa but the resources I’ve found online are often incomplete or contradictory. So, if you have experience with this visa or can give me a reliable and clear source, I would greatly appreciate it.
So far, I’ve found several conditions for obtaining this visa:
\- Have 5,000,000 yen invested
\- Hire two nationals (or equivalent) on a full-time basis
\- Have premises to use as an office
\- Have a solid business plan
\- Have the appropriate licenses for the type of business required
\- Have a Japanese Co-founder
\- For renewal, be in a good financial position
And so the points that aren’t clear to me are the following:
\- Depending on the source, it’s 2 employees and/or 5,000,000 yen. Is it “and” or “or”?
\- The Co-founder doesn’t appear in all the sources, is it really compulsory? Is it just to simplify administrative procedures? What is his role or impact in the company (i.e. how well do I know and trust this person?)?
That’s what I’m most concerned about. If you have any other information you think would be useful, or think I’ve got something wrong or forgotten, please don’t hesitate!
