Hi everyone,
I already know the answer is: you shouldn’t have done that. So don’t worry but I wanted to know if anyone knew what will happen.
My housing complex doesn’t have its own trash box and it has a designated area, uncovered, on the street a little ways away. On the same street there is a covered box for an apartment building.
My partner and his friend said it wasn’t allowed but should be ok to put some cardboard and trash in the covered box if it’s raining, so my partner did that for me. But usually I use the street one in the right days as instructed.
Today, I’m guessing a guy from the apartment building with the trash box, tried to call my door bell but I didn’t know him and no uniform so I didn’t answer. He then left the trash at my door (one of the bags was the cardboard from months ago? So I guess they held onto it). I can only assume he asked the police to check the cameras to find me, as my address wasn’t on the trash.
Basically, yes it was a mistake that will not be repeated, and I was taking advice instead of following the written rule, totally on me for that. But I wondered if the consequences will go beyond a warning/possible fine. Will I get kicked out of my apartment? Let me know.
Thanks guys.
