My husband and I are traveling to Japan this October for our honeymoon. We already have our flights booked and we plan on booking our hotels soon.
We were originally planning on exchanging a bunch of money either before we leave or after we arrive in Japan to hold cash on us. I have been told it’s better to just pull money from ATMs instead.
What would be the best option? Obviously we’ll need cash on us at all times, but should we pull our entire spending budget out in cash or is there any advice about using the ATMs and what kind of cards they prefer? I believe both my and my husband’s debit and credit cards are all Visas.
