I’m seeking advice on depositing USD cash into a bank account. I’ve been holding onto this money since moving to Japan, but it’s been sitting around my house for too long, and I worry about losing or damaging it.
Specifically, I’d like to know which banks support foreign currency deposits (USD in this case). Currently, I have accounts with a local bank and Sony Bank. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated!
On a separate note, as someone who’s been struggling to adjust to life here, how do you folks manage? After six months of living in Japan, I’m still having trouble enjoying my time here. When I browse the internet, all I see is the negative side of things about Japan. IRL, not speaking fluent Japanese can be frustrating. Living in inaka is boring as hell…
Do you guys have any tips for making the most of my daily life in Japan?
