Hello! I’m going on a trip to Tokyo at the end of the year with my siblings and friends and the last two days of our trip will be on New Years Eve and Day. I know that there will be a lot of closures during this time since it’s a big at home holiday in Japan, but I was wondering if anyone has any tips of what to do during these two days? If you’ve visited during this time, what did you do? What areas will more likely have things to do/have shops that are open. Also do you think we’d be able to buy souveniors during this time or should we get them earlier in our trip? Thanks so much!
