My hotel is in Shiomi and I have a tour that meets up at 08:20 at Shinjuku Post Office on a Friday. I’d like to be there at 07:45 or 08:00 at the latest.
I was wondering if it’s better to take the trains or get a taxi?
Google Maps shows about 45 minutes by train but I’m worried about the morning rush. It’ll also be my 2nd day in Japan so I’m also worried about the unfamiliarity with navigating the rail system.
Taxi shows anywhere from 25 minutes to 1.5 hours depending on traffic.
Does anyone have a recommendation or tips about this?
