I have travelled twice to Japan in Jun 23 and Mar 24.
During the previous 2 trips I could find 3 stars business hotel for $50-70/night per person. I have 2 upcoming trip in Sept 24 and Mar 25. The prices for the same hotel cost at least double or triple per night at the same hotel. At least $100+/night I’m already tracking the prices for the hotel in Mar 25 1 year early and saw the huge increase. Even with the weak yen but the huge increased in price kill any cost savings for accommodation.
What are some tips to save $ for accommodation since I’m not even booking a 4-5 stars hotel just basic 3 stars hotels.
