Kansai thru pass VS Osaka amazing pass

Looking at the costs/benefits.

My family would be staying in Osaka but we are planning to make day trips to Kyoto, Nara and Kobe – going to the usual touristy spots as this is our first time going to these areas.

For more details, these are the spots that we are planning to go to in Kyoto, Nara and Kobe.

Kyoto : Fushimi inari shrine, Higashiyama, Kiyomizu-dera, Tenryu-ji, Nishiki market, Arashiyama,

Nara : Nara park, Todaiji, Kasuga taishi, the mochi pounding shop

Kobe : Mt rokko, Nunoboki Herb gardens, Kobe harborland, Kobe sanda premium outlet

I was initially planning to only get the Osaka amazing pass since it says that there are attractions that would be of free entrance (i.e Umede sky bldg, osaka castle, tsutenkaku tower, etc) aside from the unlimited transpo which covers osaka metro, some private railways (i.e kintetsu, hankyu, etc), and the osaka city bus.

But upon searching, the Kansai thru pass covers more lines with the abovementioned lines already included. They also have an option of 2 or 3 day pass which doesnt require to be used on consecutive days which allows it to be more of flexible use compared to the Osaka amazing pass which currently only offers a 1 day pass.

Should we get them both? Or should we opt for Osaka amazing pass and then just buy train tix for when we do daytrips to other areas?
Or should we get the Kansai thru pass and then just pay for the entrance fees of the attractions that we want to see that are included in the Osaka amazing pass?
Or if you have any other recommendation i’m very much open to hear them!

Would love to hear your insights, thank you so much!!
