Hey everyone! I have a trip for 5 22/23 year old guys coming up VERY soon! We will be in Japan for 8 days and our daily itineraries are largely based on [japan-guide.com.](http://japan-guide.com) I’ve seen that those itineraries can be a little overloaded, but I’d love to hear what you guys think!
5/19 Tokyo – Stay in Sumida:
* Arrive at 5pm.
* Get cash at 7/11 & eat dinner somewhere
* Make way to accommodation in Sumida and Sleep, we’re coming from a drastic time change
5/20 Tokyo – Stay in Sumida:
* Tsukiji Outer Market (preferably early)
* Imperial East Garden
* Explore Ginza
* Explore Marunouchi
* Kaminarimon
* Sensoji Temple
* Sumida Park
* Omakase Dinner at Sushi Kimura @ 8:30
5/21 Tokyo – Stay in Shinjuku:
* Meji Shrine
* Takeshita Street
* Omotesando
* Explore Shibuya
* Baseball Game @ 6PM
* Afterwards Explore Shinjuku and go to Golden Gai (are there better places to visit bars and experience shinjuku night life?)
* Hostel is \~10 min walk away from Golden Gai
5/22 Kyoto – Stay is right next to Fushimi Inari:
* Extra time to sleep in and then travel to Kyoto
* Ginkakuji Temple
* Philosopher’s Path
* Nanzenji Temple
* Kaege Incline
* Kodaji Temple
* Higashiyama Streets
* Looking for a dinner that is >6k Yen/person and we can make reservations for.
* Night walk to Fushimi Inari?
5/23 Kyoto – Ryokan slightly north east of Kyoto:
* \~35 minute travel from hotel to Tenryuji
* Arashiyama
* Tenryuji
* Bamboo Groves
* Togetsukyo Bridge
* Monkey Park
* Kinkakuji
* Ryoanji Temple
* Ninnaji Temple
* Travel to Ryokan and eat dinner
5/24 Osaka – Hotel next to Shin Osaka Station:
* Osaka Castle
* Visit and Explore Shinsekai
* ?? I just want to eat good food here
* Evening in Dotonbouri
* Early sleep at Hotel
5/25 Tokyo – Capsule hotel in Minato:
* Be at Shin Osaka train station at 9AM to go to Tokyo
* 1PM Reservation @ Bifteck Kawamura Ginza
* 4PM Teamlabs borderless
* Explore wherever we felt we didn’t get to see enough of in the first place
5/26 Return home:
* Quick breakfast then off to NRT
* Flight takes off at 2:30PM
