3-4 Days in Hokkaido with a 13-year old
I’ve never been to Hokkaido and am taking my son (13) to Japan for 8 nights in June.
We are going to arrive in Japan (HND) on Friday AM and so I was just going to buy a domestic ticket to CTS and continue on.
I’ve already seen that there are Baseball Tickets available that weekend, so we will go to a game and visit the Onsen/Sauna after the game. Besides that (and Genghis Khan BBQ), what else should we do. I’m not wedded to staying in Sapporo.
I don’t speak Japanese but have been there 5 times. We like history, baseball and food.
We will head back to Tokyo after that for the remainder of our trip. Should we fly back on Monday or take an overland route back?
