Hey everyone! All the posts about language schools so far have been really helpful.
My husband and I are saving, planning, and preparing to spend 2 years in language school (and then look for work in Japan, to move there permanently).
April 2026 is most likely, but the problem is that it’s hard to really settle on a timeline because we have a dog (10 yrs old).
ETA: our current plan is to wait as long as we need until he is no longer with us. But that was depressing to think about and I didn’t want to write that down. I am just trying to see if this is possible, so I don’t regret waiting if I find out later that it was possible to bring him.
I’ve reached out to a service that partners with schools, but they don’t help people with pets.
Does anyone here know of a language school that allows people with dogs to move into their student housing?
Or…is there a website where I can search all language schools with this filter?
We know this is unlikely, but I at least have to ask! Maybe someone here has a random success story or knows of a school.
(We are flexible on location).
