Arriving Tuesday Terminal 1 at 15:45. Tokyo hotel has organized a (free) taxi that will “track the plane arrival and wait 45 mins afterwards”. How long are NRT immigration waits in Terminal 1 at that time nowadays? This is to decide if I should pre-emptively book a later timed pickup.
The 2 of us are in business class on points (but I think there’s no premium class fast track, right?), have the QR codes, won’t have any checked luggage. We’re not picking up a JR Pass either. I have seen posts of people saying “through in 30 mins” but also those queueing waiting for hours — though those are all at least a year old, maybe a bit later in th afternoon, and seem to be people with checked luggage. So hoping for recent experiences…
