I will be staying in Beppu next week one night and then have two nights until I leave from Fukuoka back to the states. I am interested in onsen hotels and possibly a ryokan (at least for one of the two nights). I would love recommendations for places to stay that fit that bill and are on the way back to Fukuoka. I am willing to spend some money for the best experience with the most beautiful scenery that’s not too far off the beaten path. Thank you so much for your help!
