Honda Stepwagon (STEPWGN) and Zankure 残クレ

Hi all,

Just wondering if anyone has ever bought a Honda Stepwagon in this group.

I was debating whether to go with a Toyota Noah or a Honda Stepwagon, but since there is an ongoing campaign for the 残クレ loan plan with only a 1.9% interest, the Stepwagon is much much more financially viable choice for me.

So far the two are almost similar although the Noah clearly has a big advantage in the looks department. Any thoughts or critiques with the Stepwagon or Honda in general?

Also if there’s anyone who has ever purchased a car with 残クレ and have any negative experience, please do share.

Thank you!

  1. I like Honda. I bought a Freed from a Honda Cars dealer and have been very satisfied. As for the Stepwagon, I personally prefer the looks of the previous generation. Also the wakuwaku gate rear door looks really useful on the previous generation, they’ve gotten rid of it on the new one.

The Noah is pretty nice but be aware that you’ll be waiting for 6 months or so to own one. There is a waiting list.

Our Honda Freed was purchased with zankure. It’s been fine – pretty much a typical loan. Of course we will have a chunk of debt left at the end of the 5 years which we can choose what to do with – trade in for a new car, pay it off, or refinance that chunk.
