I have been a keiyakushain for the same company for around 12 years. My employment conditions are almost the same as the conditions for seishain at my company, so I have never considered asking them to convert me to a seishain.
I am now over 60 years old, and the other seishain at my company of this age have been re-employed due reaching the mandatory retirement age.
I wish to continue working until I am at least 65 years old, so I am considering whether I should (or even can) ask them to convert me to being a seishain.
Has anyone else been in this time of situation? Or have any advice?
