Hahah he is going to be cheered, you can be sure of that if the Revpro 10th anniversary show was an indicator. Whatever heelish shit he tried to pull everybody (me included) was still cheering for him and chanting Fuck Okada etc.
Njpw are setting up a face turn anyway. Okada clearly worked heel against him.

9000% Ospreay – and probably UE – are turning face.
There’s a reason NJPW has leaned so hard into Great O Kharn’s meme sex god stuff. Ospreay’s trajectory right now is basically identical to Okada’s heel run with Tana, just slightly truncated and with more side stuff.
