I have been looking into masters degrees in Japan for various personal reasons and came across the Medical Science Graduate Program, which seems like a great opportunity.
I have a first class degree in Psychology and Neuroscience from a top 3 UK university, however this does not actually carry too much weight here and doesn’t provide me with the right qualifications for many of masters degrees I am now interested in.
With the MSc at Todai being :
>”established for students with backgrounds other than medicine to come into expanded contact with basic medicine and to develop the ability to conduct basic medical research after admittance.”

this seems like a great fit for my own personal interests and would help move my career more towards the medical / research side of things, particularly from such a reputable university.
I’ve been looking around online to see if I can find some personal experiences with the program but haven’t had too much luck so I thought I would ask here!
I am aware the deadline for applications this year has now passed, but any input / thoughts / advice would be greatly appreciated as this is something I would definitely still consider in the future.
Thank you!
