Hi all, today I decided to get a second hand bike for dirt cheap. The caveat is tho that the owner does not have any papers with her. So, here was my plan:
I have saved screenshots of the chat from Marketplace, albeit in English.
I have typed a proof of purchase letter and will get it signed by her including the date time, her address.(I know there’s a form in Japanese for transfer of ownership, I’ll bring a printout of that with me too)
I plan to visit a bike shop(need recommendations for that) today or tomorrow and get it registered showing the proof of purchase.
I will park the bike at my local supermarket until t the procedure of parking the bike at my apartment.(Hopefully in two days)
The bike pickup is in Edogawa and I live in Toshima. Any recommendations for a bike shop anywhere between these two or in Toshima/Shinjuku would be appreciated. I do not speak very much japanese, so that has to be a consideration.
