How’s living in eastern Nerima (Ekoda & Kotake-Mukaihara St.) ?

I currently consider buying a house in Tokyo, and there are quite a number of interesting offerings in the area.

Anyone can share what is your experience of living there? Would you consider it as a potential place for a house?

Pros for me so far:

* Quiet and low-rise residential area
* Well connected to the city centre: Fukushin and Yurakucho allow rapid direct access to most of central Tokyo
* Lower price compared to more central areas like Shinjuku/Toshima, as well as other residential areas like Setagaya
* There are some nice cafes and bakeries in the area
* A good number of schools, incl. an international school (not relevant now, but may be in future)

Cons so far:

* Less vibrant vs popular residential areas like Setagaya
* No parks
* Feels less “international” ?
