My family and I are headed for Kyoto for 5 nights at the end of June and I’m looking for recommendations. I’m desperate to indulge in the clichés like sushi and sake, but would love to hear other recommendations from locals that I might otherwise miss. We’re not too fussed about sights, more about good food, drink and culture (any tips for music festivals or exhibitions would be greatly appreciated).
