Have you ever got a bill with the corner ripped off? How did you get rid of it?

Got slipped a damaged 1000 yen by a sneaky cashier (one corner is ripped off). Didn’t notice and now can’t seem to get rid of it (>_<)

Tried a couple of shops and vending machines but no luck so far…

Edit: many thanks for the advice… will take it to the bank.
