Moving plans in the future

Hello! I’m currently an undergraduate student pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Communication (should I shift to English?) from a prestigious university in the Philippines.

I’m currently dating someone who’s Japanese and we are planning to move to Japan after we graduate and get married. I’m currently looking into some job opportunities that accepts my degree once I hopefully start living there.

I’ve always wanted to teach English to foreigners so I’ve thought about becoming a English teacher once I start living there. I know that teaching is a big responsibility and commitment and I’m prepared to shoulder that and I plan to get more qualifications that can qualify me to become a teacher over there but I’ve heard that it’s hard becoming one if you’re not a native English speaker.

I’m fluent in English and have been studying the language for the entirety of my education and I’m fluent in basic Japanese which I use to converse with my partner (although I do not have JLPT certificates).

So is this plan realistic and feasible? If not what do you guys suggest I do.

Thank you in advance.
