Does anyone know a clinic where I can go to get tested for muscular dystrophy?
My mother just got diagnosed with muscular dystrophy (in the UK, not here) and was told that there is a 50% chance she has passed the gene on to her children so it is recommended that I get tested.
I am nearly 29 and want to get it checked as soon as possible, but I have literally no idea what kind of doctor or clinic I need to go to even in English.
Does anyone have any recommendations or ideas?
I am not a tourist, I live in Kyoto and have national health insurance. My Japanese is enough to get by so they don’t necessarily need to speak English either.
