I have my first shaken coming up for my Model 3. I read some articles online that I can simply book it at the Tesla service centre and they can take care of it for around 120,000 yen. After browsing a bit here I see some mentions of doing it yourself at a local centre. Does anyone have experience with this for an EV car? Is anything different? Is it worth doing it this way or should I just go with the Tesla service centre?
UPDATE: Just did the self shaken today at the bureau of land transportation. It was extremely easy and straight forward. Most importantly it was crazy cheap compared to the Tesla service centre. I paid a total of around 19,000 yen versus the 120,000 the service centre wanted. Thank you all who suggested this and saved me 100,000 yen 🙂
