I was wondering how to proceed to get my last name changed (actually, hyphenated) after getting married.
Me and my spouse are both foreigners but we got married in Japan. When we went to city hall to get everything done, no one asked me about the name change and for me to get a marriage certificate in my country with the new last name I need it to be done here first and to be on my Japanese marriage certificate. I’be searched it up on google but it only said stuff about foreigners marrying Japanese nationals so I don’t now how the procedure would be in my case.
