Work/Visa clarification (Explain Like I’m 5)

My last full-time contract finished at the end of March.

I contacted Immigration within 2 weeks which I believe gives me 3 months to find work.

Signed on to health insurance and updated my pension stuff.

So far no luck from any full time jobs but I have been accepted by a part-time job (I’ve applied for over 20 so far). The job does not offer Visa sponsorship, it is convenient.

My girlfriend tells me a part time job isn’t enough and doesn’t count to immigration.

I’m also working freelance on the side and making around 100,000 a month (estimated earning with current students).

Working the part time job and freelance will give me about 200,000 (yes it’s not much at all).

I have a valid work visa (Specialist in Humanities etc…) with 2 and a half years left on it.

Starting to get worried I’m going to get deported at the end of June.

What do I need to show immigration to stay in Japan? How many hours/how much money do I need to make?

The students I have for my freelance teaching are really good and the parents are very kind and accommodating so I’d like to keep them if I can.
