I am currently studying abroad at Japan with a student visa. I’ve gotten tax free at don quijote and this one other make up store. However, when trying to get tax free for an LV bag they turned me down and said students are not allowed to get tax free. Is this correct? Will I need to pay back the tax free that I have already recieved when exiting the country?
