We got some sashimi from Uwajimaya and put these together. The toro was a fail because it was really tough and not the best cut, but the salmon, ahi tuna and tamagoyaki were so good.

Can’t really say, you didn’t invite me to try! It looks delicious! The toro is probably tough, looks cut a little to thick. I’ve had it served like this from many sushi restaurants. Beautiful fish, cuts and presentation hope you enjoyed it!

Don’t use nishiki next time. Pick up some good quality Japanese short grain rice.
Those are some THICC cuts of toro. I’d eat every last bite of it tho
