Don’t judge me but I’m really tight on money right now and i kinda really need some clothes. So Is there anywhere where i can buy some cheap clothes . I heard thrift stores are expensive too. please help me out .
By far the cheapest store I randomly found in osaka. Its second hand, I really liked that one.

GU is pretty cheap and basic
GU! I’m Japanese and living in Osaka
Uniqlo is quite reasdonable for quality clothing. Not sure of your budget or the style/type of clothing you want, but I recently picked up some nice t-shirts for ¥1367 each.
If you just need basic stuff to make sure your nipples are covered you can pick up some clothes in Daiso. They carry socks, underwear, shirts and ties between 100 and 300 yen. Can’t say I’d recommend any of it though.
Shimamura is very cheap. Bought my summer shorts there for around 900yen each
Thrift stores arent expensive if you don’t need the expensive items. You get super cheap clothes in good condition from “2nd street” for sure.
Workman Uniqlo GU 2nd street. But don’t go to the tourist second streets those are tourist traps
I tend to check out the clearance sections of GU and Uniqlo whenever I’m in one in Osaka, where they slap on those red stickers. Some are better/worse than others and it can be hit or miss, but I’ve saved a LOT of money this way
Just stay away from thrift stores (2nd street, bookoff) that are close to the city center. I found clothes relatively cheap in Suita, and I’d imagine it would be more in actual rural areas.
