Help understanding guts of Japanese

I’m just now learning Japanese and I wrote this little poem it goes:

こんにちはあかあさ
こんにちはあかたか
こんばんはくろよる
こんばんはくろねこ

Konnichiwa aka asa
Konnichiwa aka taka
Konbanwa kuro yoru
Konbanwa kuro neko

Hello red morning
Hello red hawk
Goog evening black night
Good evening black cat

However, google translate says it should be:

こんにちは、赤い朝です
こんにちは、レッドホークです
こんばんはブラックナイトです
こんばんは、黒猫です

Kon’nichiwa, akai asadesu
Kon’nichiwa, reddohōkudesu
Konbanwa burakku naitodesu
Konbanwa, kuro nekodesu

I want to know if です is needed in my original sentence based of the poetic intent rather than “it’s a cat”. I learne that desu is for he/she/it is I am bur do you need desu if you’re just saying kuro neko?

Also why does google translate use katakana and wasei eigo for red hawk and black night instead of aka taka and kuro yoru?

I wanted to use those words and that structure because they rhyme.

Also why do I need to do akai Instead of aka?

So is my sentece structure all fucked or is it ok and google is being pedantic/too literal/coloquial?
