Hi again, in my last post, I asked about the itinerary for my family’s trip. There is a small change but you guys have also recommended this change as well which is to add another day of exploring Osaka instead of going to Mt Fuji. Here is the current itinerary:
Day 1: Exploring Osaka (My mom decided this because to sort of relax a bit since USJ will be more exhausting anyways)
Day 2: USJ (We are aware of the express passes, we plan to go July 24th, they’re just not on sale yet so we don’t have them yet.)
Day 3: Kyoto
Day 4-5: Tokyo
So here is my next question which is transportation. We’re flying into Haneda Airport in Tokyo and go to a hotel in Osaka afterwards. I heard about taking the Shinkansen ticket from Kyoto to Tokyo from y’all already. I also heard JR passes and subway passes is not worth it for us. What else would you recommend for this kind of itinerary? My family is 5 people including myself.
Note: The reason why we’re not exploring in Tokyo first is because we will go back to Haneda Airport at the end of our Japan stay to fly to Vietnam which is our next destination.
