Question for anyone what works as a model in Tokyo.
I randomly sent pictures to a few agencies in Tokyo and one of them got back to me to say I would be welcome to register as a ‘freelance model’ at their office. Tbh I don’t know when exactly I’ll be back but my girlfriend is half Japanese and she is 100% interested in living there at least for a year or so.
I am aware that it is complicated living there etc and I’m under no illusion that it would be easy to just decide to move to Japan but I’m wondering how feasible it would be to work as a freelance model (with no prior experience) along with working remotely with my current job.
I know a brother of a former coworker actually works as a model in Tokyo and he’s done quite well so would be curious to find out if anyone has done the same, and if so, how it happened for them.
