Be brutally honest about our itinerary

Hi all,

It’s out first time in Japan and we’re extremely excited! Unfortunately, we cannot visit everywhere (although we’d love to) but I was hoping we could get some pointers on our itinerary – and maybe some tips how to get from one place to another. Our itinerary is quite bare bones but we welcome any suggestions as we just started planning not too long ago.

Arrival early at Osaka airport

– Old town (staying around there as well)

Leaving again

We’re also wondering if anyone has some pointers on train/transport. We think it might not make sense for us to book the JR travel pass after some calculations. Are you supposed to buy train tick as early as possible?
