Are these good buy?

Unlike the Costco in Japan, We don’t have sushi for sale in our Costcos but they have these in a Chinese supermarket. I thought they are selling at good price, what do you guys think ?

  1. Canada in the house! T&T sushi is as good as grocery store sushi gets, and $14 CAD is a screaming deal.

  2. I’d skip the rolls; it’s just packed with imitation crab filler.

T&T has a pretty mid reputation, and it’s part of the Loblaws empire, so you just know they are cutting corners on quality somewhere.

  3. I’ve heard good things about T&T sushi. I haven’t tried it since before Loblaws bought it (so like 15 years ago lol) so I can’t comment on the quality nowadays

  4. Just very okay and same for the hot food station, its like 1 step above supermarket sushi. The BBQ meats over rice and great though imo

  5. If you’re hammered as fuck and you and a friend need to talk about shit out by the lake or where ever you feel comfort and privacy, this is the move.

  6. Lol is this the woodbine location?

They are okay; just don’t buy them after lunch because they don’t make them fresh after that and the rice goes hard.

The coho salmon also tastes weird imo

  7. If you get it same day it’s a good deal but otherwise you’re paying for day old to two day old sushi with chunky cucumber.

  8. T&T is edible but it’s not great.

There’s sushi at Costco in Ottawa.

  9. I think for sushi you should almost always try to make it yourself. It isn’t that difficult and will save you a lot in the long run.
