I’m hosting two hanafuda workshops in Higashi Yuenchi, Sannomiya on June 8, start times 9:30 and 13:00, instruction in English & Japanese. Participants hand-print and paste their own cards and get to walk home with a whole deck.
It’s not mainly a kids event but still quite suitable for kids 6+ if they are of the somewhat patient sort – the workshop takes around 3 hours, though of course there’s a break in the middle. Location is in the newly built Urban Picnic Studio in the middle of the park, right next to the cafe WEEKEND.
