I have an older Onkyo AV receiver with the transformer wired up for 250V.
There’s a lot of taps on that transformer, so my suspicion is that it should be easy to change this for 110V (especially as it’s a Japanese brand after all) if you know what you’re doing.
I suspect that there will be an old guy in a 2x2m shop in Akihabara who can do this in five minutes, but finding him will be difficult. So does anyone have a recommendation for a repair shop that handles HiFi equipment?
