Hi All!
I have seen and heard a lot about the convenience of bag delivery services so you do not have to travel with your large luggage. How easy is this to schedule and arrange while in Japan? I have had a lot of issues planning this in advance, between websites and calling the hotels I am staying at.
Here is the most important one. On June 17th, my wife and I are flying from Kansai airport in Osaka to Okinawa. Our flight only allows bags that are around 25lbs, and we will have bags that are closer to 40-50lbs. We are flying out of Nurita airport back to the United States on June 21, and my hope is to meet our bags at the airport.
Our hotel in Osaka does not have a service for this. Is it reasonable to believe we can ship our bags from a Yamato or the Osaka airport to have them meet us on June 21 in the Narita airport at their Yamato desk?
Clearly a lapse in timing here can mean losing all of our items in these bags, which is why I am anxious about how easy and reliable these services are, and I am clueless.
Any guidance would be greatly appreciated!
