I am finally trying to book Shinkansen. We have two kids, 6 and 11 traveling with us. One of the seat options is “Car Only for Families with Children” and I cannot find any information on this option. We are booking Nozomi green seat from Tokyo to Kyoto.
What is this “Car Only with Families with Children?” option? Has anyone used that car? I am not sure if I need to book that section since my kids are not toddlers anymore but also curious what that designated car is for.
