Had a fun conversation with some friends about this one.
Mine? I’ve been here for a decade. Eaten at dozens, probably close to triple digit ramen spots, and nothing is better than Ichiran/Ippudo (in terms of ramen). From the dirtiest bowl of one coin ramen, to a michelin star. From Miso to Tonkotsu to Shio… I haven’t found anything that even comes close. People are always disgusted by this opinion, but I just don’t get it at all. I love greasy spoons, am a huge foodie, and don’t care about how clean or dirty a place is, just try and evaluate the food for what it is, and haven’t found anything that’s even remotely as good.
