Japanese stock tax adjustments

Hi, I was using rakuten Security to buy japanese stockas using “口座 type 特定” and it was said to me, I don’t have to handle year end tax as it is handled by rakuten. Is it true?

Also if i want to buy an US stock, is it also the same?
