I’m leaving for Japan in less than a week. We’re T-mobile users with locked iPhones. We’ll be in Japan for 11 days. Me, my wife, and two teenagers who have already been told that phones will only be used for GPS, texting, and Suica payments.
T-mobile told us that the plan we’re on comes with free texts and 10GB free data while in Japan. Do you think we’ll need more than that, especially if we limit our nonessential usage to hotel WiFi?
If so, what should we get? Our phones are locked so I don’t think an eSIM would work, right?
Please help make this clearer for me.
