Question for US citizens. Has anyone recently received a ‘past due’ notice in the mail from the IRS? I recently received a notice that I have a past due balance of $77 for tax year 2021. The letter states that payment is due immediately (with the threat of bank/asset seizure if not paid) but there is zero breakdown of how that amount was calculated.
Has anyone else received a similar notice?
