Hi all, I’ll be travelling to Japan later this year with my wife and we will be meeting up with some friends in Osaka or Kyoto. We’re all non-Japanese who will be travelling the country individually, and we wanted to get together for an afternoon or evening. There’s around 10 of us in total, and a couple of young kids too (both around 5 years old).
We just want something where we can catch up, enjoy each other’s company and trade travel stories.
We initially were considering a dinner at a nice restaurant, but have found it tricky to find places that can accommodate a larger group and be kid friendly at the same time.
I was thinking maybe a picnic in a public park could fit the bill? Everyone brings something to share and the kids can run around and play.
Can anyone suggest either some nice locations for a picnic, or any other activities that they might recommend for such a group? Any advice or tips would be greatly appreciated.
