Trying to plan my trip in August and saving the weekdays for the day trips and hopefully less people.
Right now, trying to decide if it’s better to go to Kyoto on a weekday or weekend.
I plan just go to the Kiyomizo Dera, Fushimi Inari, and Arashyama. Is it worth sacrificing a weekday for this day trip in hopes of less crowds? Or, is it just going to be busy anyways and just go on the original planned Saturday/weekend? That frees up the weekdays for other activities in Osaka.
While on this topic, my Super Nintendo World was originally planned for Friday. Would moving it to Thursday make a huge difference in crowds in August (is Friday sorta like a weekend?)
