Going to Japan for 8 days (July) for the second time with my spouse. First time we stayed in Tokyo/Osaka for two weeks. We will be flying in to Narita and probably will stay in Tokyo for 1-2 days. This trip we would like to visit the Tohoku region for a few days (maybe 3-5). We love the outdoors, hiking/national parks, food and my husband loves fishing. Does anyone have any recommendations or suggestions on Tohoku regions that we might enjoy?
