After more than 10 years I’m out of here. It’s potentially more of a ‘see you’ than an actual goodbye, though we’ll see. I’m going to work elsewhere for a year or two, spend time with family/friends, and do a bit of traveling. Unfortunately, I’ve managed to get bronchitis, which has put a bit of a damper on the preparations process : / I will be flying out on the 10th.
As of now, I’ve….
* booked someone to get rid of all my stuff and will move out on the 4th
* gotten the 5 year re-entry permit at immigration (super easy)
* cancelled my internet/sim card
* slowly gotten rid of junk that I don’t need
I’m a bit uncertain about what to do with nenkin/taxes and such, as well as the timing (does it have to be done AFTER I’ve moved out).
