What to say to the superintendent when leaving?

My contract is ending, and I have to pay my BOE a visit. Just wondering if there’s some special/go-to Japanese greeting I should use to say my farewells. I’ve met the superintendent once when I first arrived, so this is very much a formality.

  1. 「お世話になりました/osewa ni narimashita」is pretty common when saying goodbyes in a work setting. It’s like saying “thank you for everything you’ve done for me”.

I’ve also heard 「今までありがとうございました/ima made arigatou gozaimashita」from people quitting too.

  2. Thanks for the money! お金ありがとうございました。that’s what I plan to say
