I have been an avid user of Mercari for a few years now, and got the credit card near a year ago.
The limit was 10000 yen, which was laughable but I thought hey, maybe you need to start somewhere right? So I have been using it and settling the amount on time every month straight away, but there has been no increase in the limit.
My friend (Japanese) got bumped up to 300000 or something after the first month.
I have a perfect review score (80+ both buying and selling, which I believe is taken into account when increasing the limit) I am also employed by an IT company and make around 7M
Has any one had a similar experience or increased the limit?
I don’t have any other credit cards, and never really have so there no good / bad history, but keeping my on 10000 limit is wild.
Also this isn’t something I really need… as I typically use cash, but still would be good to not be on such a ridiculous limit that a part time worker would laugh at 😅
