Hi, we leave for Japan in 2 days and want to use the luggage forwarding service. We have been travelling for a few weeks so we don’t want to use 2 large check in bags (and an do our 6 days in Japan in a carry on). Hence I am thinking of sending luggage from HND Airport directly to KIX Airport (from where we fly out) and pick it up in 6 days. Is there a service we can use for this? Yamato website seems unclear and I feel they are only hotel to airport or vice versa. Also, not sure if there is a service that can hold luggage for 6 days. Appreciate the responses!

There will be a service counter right at the arrival lobby. Yes you can send it to KIX and yes they can keep it for 6 day, perhaps for a small fee.
Generally, with Yamato, you can choose a delivery date within 7 days of the shipment date, and they charge an additional 660 yen for airport deliveries. I’m pretty sure you can send your luggage from HND to KIX, even though I couldn’t find specific information about deliveries between the two airports from Yamato or JAL ABC, another luggage delivery service, either.
Thanks both. Where would I pick up my luggage in KIX? I didn’t see a Yamato service counter at that airport.. is that a requirement for Yamato to send my luggage? Also is there any way I can confirm / book this transfer ahead of time?
Thanks. Are there any same day or one day luggage transfer services from HND to our hotel in Tokyo? Assuming Yamato could easily arrange that?
